Isa Shemwell has written to me about the death of a friends’ husband. She says: “Dear Christopher,
I was so impressed by your book, Mountains Mishaps, and your wealth of information. I know you couldn’t possibly include every incident in the bush, but one omission was glaring to me since it concerns my dear friend’s husband, Keith Vincent. About 2007 (?) he went on his regular bushwalk in Wentworth Falls and never returned. A storm had suddenly started and apparently the wind caused a branch to fall upon him, killing him. He was an experienced hiker and rock climber, aged about 69.”

So far, I haven’t found any more information about this incident.
